EACH (East Anglian Children's Hospice) is a great organisation, headquartered in Milton, just outside of Cambridge, whose aim is to make the lives of children with life threatening illnesses and their families as easy as possible. Their patron is Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.
Every year they hold Santa runs around East Anglia such as Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, and Peterborough. It is a great event and an awesome atmosphere with a lot of people dressed as Santa.
The one in Bury St Edmunds a few years ago had a great show from the USAF and their families and the event coincided with the Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre, which is a must to see as well!
If you are looking for something to go out and take part in, this is perfect. It is not a race, it is a fun run, but 2012 I was happy to be the first lady to finish! This is something families can do together as not everyone runs.
