Race for Life 5k

The Race for Life is an awesome event that I take part in every year. It is the biggest women's only fundraising event raising money for cancer research. If we can help them raise money to cure cancer I think that that will impact so many people. A lot of cutting edge research happens in England first. I don't know anyone who has not be impacted by cancer either personally or through someone they love. It is 5k which you can walk, jog or run. It is great to get a few friends together and dress yourselves up.

The event in Cambridge saw its largest amount of entrants which reached 8,000 ladies. This year it is estimated that 10,000. The atmosphere is so energetic and at times overwhelming.
