Burghley House

Burghley house has been on my list for a while and when I found out that it wasn't as far as I thought, I decided to make it a priority.

Recently I found out that they have a Garden of Surprises with water fountains, I decided that this hot weather was a perfect time to visit.

We spent 3 hours here but could have spent more but had to meet a friend at another place.

If you live near Alconbury or Molesworth, it is worth coming here because your ticket lasts for a year. So this would be my go to just to get out of the house.

Bug got a book which should keep any child intrigued- she is a bit young for it though.

The house is beautifully decorated which kept us kept saying "wow!".
