PictureAnother fun thing is to do is to go the markets. They are a great way to get some unique crafts, fresh food and a great experience.

You will find that most larger towns and villages will have them.

Studies show you can get a better price at markets for fresh fruit and veg than at the big supermarkets and they last longer than the ones from the commissionary!

  • Fordham Carboots-Sellers 6.30am and buyers 7am-1pm 2014 Dates-Sunday 13th and 27th of April, Sunday 11th & 25th May, Sunday 8th & 22nd June, Sunday 6th & 20th July, Sunday 3rd, 17th and 31st August, Sunday 14th and 28th September and Sunday 12th October
  • Lazy Carboot Sale- Check website for location (switched between Barton Mills and Beck Row)- sellers from 11 am and buyers from 12 pm.
