If you are looking to get involved in the local community here are some ideas to get you started:

• Get involved with Girl Guides (women only)
• Get involved with the Scouts (Men and Women)
• Find your local volunteer center to see what they have
• Volunteering
• Do-it
• Donate your time to the East anglian Children's Hospice
• Hold fundraising events or volunteer for one of the many charities:
• Cystic Fibrosis Trust
• Race for Life - (women only run)
• Cancer Research UK
• NSPCC
• RSPCA

If you get involved with volunteering, you may meet some friends and get into the local community.
