The Castle Inn

The Castle Inn is on Castle Street up by Castle Hill. It is a stomping ground for some of the physicists that I work with and so we often meet up here for a meal to celebrate people finishing their PhDs and retirements.

It is an Adnams pub which makes it a bit of a change to the Greene King ones around the country. This is a pub that has character which as my avid readers know I like.

I love that you get such a varied mix of people here and the environment is very welcoming.
