Beowulf

So now I have started a British Literature class from Beowulf to the 18th century. I thought that it would be interesting to talk about some of the readings I cover during this course.

So the first work is Beowulf. This story was highlighted in the creation that Angelina Jolie provided the voice for the monster's mother in the movie. The story dates back to the 8th and 11th century and for a while it was not sure where it was authored but it was written in Old English. It is a very gruesome tale between these villagers and these monsters.
