Cromer is a coastal town on the North Norfolk coast. It has an annual fireworks display on New Years Day at 5 pm. This is a great option to allow your children to celebrate the New Year without having them ruin their sleeping schedule or if you are like me who tends to miss midnight.
The display is about 15 minutes long and it is about 1.5 hours away so I suggest that you make this a day trip and go up, eat the fish and chips and walk on the beach or local paths.
Dress to the weather! It was very windy when we went and luckily only started to rain as we were headed back to the car.
There were thousands of people there so it is a popular event and has been going for more than 20 years.
A great way to start the new year.
