Every year, posts start popping up about spiders because they are huge here. While is it true that there are no poisonous spiders in the UK, if you are bitten by the false black widow, you can get very ill if not treated. I took some pictures of the kinds of spiders that you may come across. I hate spiders but this was a very interesting task.

Daddy long legs- not like the one we see in the US. Found in the ceiling corners. |
Lace Spider- usually found around windows. |
False Widow Spider- not poisonous but if the bite is left untreated, then a person can become ill. If you are allergic to bees, pay particular attention to get help once bitten. |
